Ronaldo Jr. was born in San Diego, California, to Portuguese international footballer and all-time men’s international record goal-scorer Cristiano Ronaldo. On July 3rd 2010, Ronaldo announced his arrival, with the mother being an anonymous surrogate. It is reported that he paid €12 million to secure full custody of him and it is understood that the mother wanted her identity kept anonymous.
Ronaldo Jr.’s parenting has been more stringent than average, with his father prohibiting him from indulging in soda or French fries. Moreover, the youngster does not own a mobile phone.
He began his career at the club, rising from the youth ranks. He eventually became a regular fixture in the team and featured prominently in their successes.
